Happy Friday!
We’ve reached that time of the year where we are in the “last of’s” – as in last this or that for the year (or decade!). And, today, marks the last Ultimate Coffee Date of 2019. This is always one of my favorite link-ups – a big thanks to both Deborah and Coco for hosting! So grab a mug of your fave hot beverage and let’s chat.
December’s Ultimate Coffee Date
Over coffee, I would tell you that I’m already feeling behind on my Christmas planning! I blame it on a combination of Thanksgiving being a week later this year (I never start anything Christmas related until after Thanksgiving) and struggling for gift ideas for the family – especially my boys. Shopping for teenage boys is hard!
Over coffee, I would tell you that despite feeling woefully behind, I am really looking forward to enjoying the Christmas season. I’ll be off from work from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day and plan to fully embrace that time to relax and recharge.

And, speaking of BibRave…The BibRave 100 was revealed this week and I was happy to see some of my favorites made the cut, including the Newport 10 Miler and the Ocean Road 10K – both of which are on my calendar for 2020. You can check out the complete list at www.thebibrave100.com
So, what would you tell me over coffee?
Well I guess it is the last coffee date of 2019! So glad to see you join Bib Rave it’s a fun group. Thanks for linking up for coffee
I am with you on the not starting Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Even though the Christmas season is shorter this year, I like to focus on 1 holiday at a time. Congrats on being named a Bib Rave Pro!
Welcome to the Bibrave team! 🙂
If you’re feeling bad about your lack of holiday prep, just remember that you are in good company! Maybe I’ll get rolling this weekend…
Yeah you’re not alone on holiday prep. I just got the tree up today. Who knows when the ornaments will happen?? Haha! Congrats on the BRP gig!
I usually struggle with what to get my son, but now that he had his own apartment and a wedding on the horizon there’s more on his wish list! Your holiday break sounds great. I ^^will^^ be taking time off, but I also have a meeting on December 18 to learn about things that have to get done by the 31st!
Oh, and you will be a great Bib Rave Pro ambassador — congrats!!
I feel like I don’t do very much for the holidays anymore, but I’m excited for them anyway! Congrats on being selected as a BibRave Pro! :]
I meant to apply for Bib Rave Pro…but procrastinated, and totally missed the deadline LOL Oh well…I’ll try to be a bit more punctual next time. It is weird having Thanksgiving so late. I got my trees up, they have all the ribbons and lights, but the ornaments are still in the box (and still in the storage space downstairs).
Congrats on becoming a Bibrave Pro AND your upcoming vacation. May you have a very jolly holiday.
