Time for a little catch up over coffee!
I’m joining Coco and Deborah for the Ultimate Coffee Date link-up. Grab a mug, get comfortable and let’s chat!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that Mother Nature is seriously crushing my fall buzz with this latest crazy warm-up! I know you might think I’m crazy for wishing away 77 degree days, but I really like having 4 seasons and Fall is my favorite. Every time I think we finally get a taste of fall, Mother N yells “psyche!”
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I may be more excited to see the new Thor movie that just opened than my boys are! I think the Marvel movies are so much fun…and let’s be honest Chris Hemsworth isn’t too tough to take 😉
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’ve become mildly obsessed with Stitch Fix! I got my first fix back in July and was pleasantly surprised that the stylist hit it out of the park. Since then I’ve only had one Fix that was a “What were they thinking?!” moment. I have some holiday parties on the horizon so I’m really looking forward to seeing what this month’s Fix will hold. If you’re interested in checking it out and helping my shopping habit, please use my referral code http://stitchfix.com/referral/13408665
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m really looking forward to the holidays. I got the annual mailer announcing Nutcracker tickets (one of my fave family traditions) and my boys have already started dropping gift hints 🙂 I’m hoping to get started with my Christmas shopping in the next week or so – I want to be organized nice and early so I can really kick back and enjoy the season!
So what would you tell me over coffee? Are you looking forward to the holidays?
You know I love my Stitch Fix! It’s like getting a present every month!
We’re getting full on fall lately. Today it’s raining. I’m hoping for a break in the rain so I can get in a run.

It is like getting a present every month! So much fun!
I had to start taking allergy medicine again yesterday! I like the seasons as well. Love my Stitch Fix and just ordered a similar program for MC. I get overwhelmed by all the racks in stores so having things chosen for me is great!
Yep I wander through stores and my head spins – Stitch Fix makes my life so much easier. That’s great that there’s a similar program for MC’s age!
You know I should try stitchfix again because I did not love it when I did it twice and ended up returning most of the stuff. I love the holidays and I am excited to host Thanksgiving again this year. Now I just have to plan my menu. thanks for joining us for coffee today

We’re traveling for Thanksgiving, but host Christmas dinner every year. I’m just starting to look at menu ideas.
Psyche is right! It was so humid (and warm) at my 5k this morning. I’ve been doing StitchFix all year. Some of them…just don’t work. But, I’ve gotten a lot of great items too! I love Christmastime but also consider it a huge source of stress!
Christmas can get crazy, but I’m hoping if I start early with my planning and do a little at a time I can hold onto my sanity…at least that’s the plan! 😉
OMG. I can’t even think of the holidays yet. Not even sure where we’ll be celebrating this year!

I don’t want to wish the days away, but as soon as we hit November I can’t help but to start thinking about the holidays. Love seeing the anticipation build with my boys!
I literally laughed OUT LOUD at your “Psyche!” comment. No lie, I appreciate the change of seasons, too, but the roller-coaster back & forth fall/summer/winter/fall/winter routine is driving me nutzo.

You and me both!
I am looking forward to the holidays – we’re hosting Thanksgiving and both of our sons and their wife/girlfriend will be here this year! I hope to get all of my Christmas decorating done the weekend after Thanksgiving and shopping started that following week. Good luck to both us in getting it done early so we can relax and enjoy ourselves!

Sounds like a great Thanksgiving! I like your idea of decorating the week after – I’ll have to add that to my list.
I think I need to try Stitch Fix! I continue to hear great things. I hate shopping so I think I would probably love that I get new clothes without going shopping myself.
Let me know if you decide to try it!
It’s been a bit warmer than usual here this fall as well. Hope you get nice and organized early, so you can enjoy the holiday season as well. 🙂

Thanks Clarinda 🙂
I’m with you…the warm weather needs to go away so we can really settle into fall…while it lasts!
I have to admit I’ve never seen the Thor movies but I LOVE Chris Hemsworth, lol…I’m a little shallow sometimes lol!
Sigh, it’s almost time for Xmas…I gotta get my plan together ASAP!
