At the moment….
…. I haven’t been running much….in fact just 6 very slow miles last week. The good news – they were pain-free!
…. I’m going for session #2 with the chiro this morning. He believes he’ll have me fully-operational shortly as long as I do my exercises and roll daily. He’s also urging me to get off the pavement for a bit – on trails, grass or at the very least the track – a more forgiving surface would help my cause.
…. while I wish I were running more, I’m embracing what I can do now – enjoying other workouts like TRX, basketball in the driveway with my kids, walks with my injured BRF and weekly barre classes. I had stopped T25 last week, but I’m going to add it back into the mix with my chiro’s OK.
Good, I’m glad you saw your chiro and you’re seeing the positives in this challenge. Injuries are so frustrating but focusing on what you CAN do is awesome. WTG!

I’d probably be pulling my hair out without the chiro 🙂 But I can live with slow and steady progress!
Nice to see that you’re making progress and running pain free! Sometimes it’s nice to take a running break and do other workouts!

Thanks – I’ll see how much today’s appointment pays off on tomorrow’s run – fingers crossed!
Forget running with attitude, you should be called the perfect attitude, what a way to be grateful for what you have Michelle. You are approaching this well, and are rewarded with a few pain free miles that you appreciate 🙂 Keep up the good work, you are doing great 🙂

It’s a little tedious but I think it will be worth it!
Do you have a TRX setup at home? I’m so fascinated by that contraption – I think it would be the perfect thing for me and my feet issues.
Keep with the program, I like the idea of changing up your surfaces. When I finally get back to running, I need to do the same.

The Pilates studio I go to also offers TRX classes – it’s a great workout! Hope you’re back to running soon!
I just realized your site doesn’t show up on my feed. Will need to look into that.
It sucks being injured. But slow and steady is all we can do. Hoping for a speedy recovery for you (and for me!)
