Happy Friday!
For this week’s Fit Five Friday I’m heading over to Marcia‘s Runfessional – I’ve got a couple of runfessions to share before stepping into the new month.
I runfess that March was just a hard month – I don’t mind being busy but this has been 31 days of a frenetic pace! The work-life balance was way out of whack and I feel like everything took a hit!
While I tried to hang on to running 3x’s a week, I runfess that I let go of trying to finish the Team Wilpers Half Marathon Challenge. With no half marathon on my race calendar any time soon, I didn’t see the harm in stepping back. But, ever hopeful that April will be better, I’ve signed up for the Wilpers Spring Run Challenge which should line up well with my upcoming 10K.
Last month I runfessed that my eating habits had gotten a little lax. I started the new month with the best of intentions to improve but then…yeah March happened. Again, there’s always April, right?
How was your March? Any Runfessions to share?

I’ll agree, March was a little nutzo. My place of work is undergoing a rebrand, and it launches this weekend, so I’m going to “march ” into some major chaos when I return on Tuesday. I’m just hoping Momma N takes note of the calendar & continues our exit from all things winter.
March has been a little crazy. Hopefully things will lighten up for you in April!

As you know, my March went off the rails very aggressively too. Hope April is a lot better 🙂

My March was a little hectic with people coming and going- three different spring breaks happened in our family (all at different times) and everyone traveled, at different times, except me. I will say that the month sped by! I hope April is a little calmer for you, work-wise. I think it’s impossible to have a perfect balance of work/family/workouts all the time, so after a very work-heavy month I hope that part of your life lightens up a bit.
Wanna know how to make a month crawl instead of fly? Don’t eat sugar!! Haha! After a massively busy February at work, March was a tad more quiet and that was much appreciated. I hope April settles down for you!
Hopefully, with March all but behind us, your life will be a lot less hectic. Here’s to a less frenzied April!

Yes. March was an insane month. NYC three times. Crazy cold weather. And work? Don’t get me started.
I’m hoping April goes better for both of us.
My eating habits are generally pretty good but you’d never know that looking at me. I just wasn’t blessed with good genes that way. We do the best we can!
So we are all pretty locked down on eating right now. I am getting a few “junk” things, but we are low-sodium, fish/chicken/eggs only as protein and all the fruits and vegetables. It’s not a bad thing, but it’s also not incredibly exciting.
How fun that you’re doing a new challenge! Hopefully, April is better for you.
