After announcing her presence with authority last week, Ma Nature seems to have had an attitude adjustment. This week featured warmer temps and loads of sunshine.
Here’s a quick look at my week in workouts.
Weekly Run Down Week 10
Monday — 20 min Peloton ride plus 5 min cooldown ride, 10 min bodyweight strength, 10 min core, and 10 min stretch. This was a fun stack and a good start to the week. Keeping my #nevermissamonday streak alive and well.
Tuesday — 3.14 miles and 10 min core. I joined Kim for her Week of Pi challenge. It was shorts weather – enough said!
Wednesday — 45 min full-body strength and a stretch. It had been a hectic day at work and I almost called it a rest day, but when I checked the Peloton app I realized I had just enough time to join the encore presentation of this 45 min strength class. This class did not disappoint – though the 6-minute EMOM at the end of class was just evil. Hello, jelly arms!
Thursday — Another Pi run and 10 min core. DOMS hit hard from Wednesday’s workout, but catching the sunrise was worth it.
Friday — 5-mile walk and 10 min stretch. I had another run on tap but when the chance to take a long walk with a friend presented itself, I opted for the walk. There was lots of catching up and laughs, and I completely forgot about taking a photo — good for the soul!
Saturday — 30 min ride plus 5 min cooldown ride, 10 min core, and 10 min stretch. Robin is one of my favorite Peloton instructors so when it came to celebrating 70th ride, picking one of her rides was a no-brainer. And, I scored another PR!
Sunday — It’s Pi Day so, of course, there was one more Pi Run (officially 3.25 miles). The cold air has crept back in but you could not beat the sunshine! I’m feeling a little creaky post-run so I’m planning on pulling out my yoga mat in a bit.
All-in-all a pretty good week, and I’m hoping to just continue to ride the wave.

Five Self Care Tips for Spring
How was your week? Does it feel like spring where you are?
I’m linking up with Kim and Deborah for the Weekly Run Down. Stop by and join us!
Yes crazy weather. So windy this weekend and the mild temps of last week are gone again!
I am happy to have that extra hour of daylight at the end of the day.
Hopefully, this return of cold air will be short-lived. I’m so done with the layers!
walking and running with friends is my only social life these days! You have to take advantage of those opportunities when they pop up. Enjoy your warmer temps!
I know what you mean! Definitely have to take advantage of those chances to catch-up!
I’ll take a long walk with a friend over a run any day! I’m hoping to do that more as the weather gets nicer and my desire to run seems to keep dwindling, lol.
Mother Nature was kind nice to us this week too – amex of warm and cold days, but today is super windy so I guess she’s made again!
Yes! It was so nice to take that walk. I’m looking forward to more if Ma Nature plays nice.
It was almost Spring … briefly, LOL! It’ll come back at some point though. Although sometimes we do skip right into Summer.
A walk with a friend is soothing to the soul (and I don’t usually take photos of us, just the scenery if it’s nice). It’s been a while for me, I’m always at my moms on the nice days, it seems.
Sounds like a good week for you, Michelle!
It’s funny, I didn’t realize how much I needed that walk, that time to connect in person. It’s been a long winter…looking forward to more outdoor time with friends.
Looks like a great week for you! And I’m glad Mother Nature turned down the wind. She’s bringing us some snow and rain tomorrow. BOOO. But I can’t complain. We’ve had an amazing couple of weeks here. Well, ok, I might complain a little… 😛

Oh I think you can complain a little 😉 I hope the snow and rain are short-lived for you.
I’m not one to turn down a walk with a friend, either (which reminds me…I haven’t had a good FaceTime walk in awhile…just saying) 😉 We had some crazy wind, but, overall, nice spring-like temps this week. It’s gonna be a bit iffy tomorrow, though…

We definitely need to get back to our FaceTime walks as it warms up 🙂
I’ve decided that pi runs are an official thing. Besides it’s fun to crash Kim’s b-day party;-)

It was fun to see so many of us pi running!
Well, it feels like spring with being sunny but windy with a chance of snow showers later in the week — but I doubt they’ll amount to anything here. Great going on those workouts. I did a bunch of Robin’s strength classes this week and really enjoyed them.
Thanks Coco! Robin has some great classes – I’m looking forward to her new classes when she gets back from maternity leave.
Glad you had a chance to walk with a friend! Walking is just as good as running 🙂 Just takes a little longer! Great way to connect.
Yay for spring and warmer temps! Sounds a solid week for you!
Thanks Jessie – it felt like things were clicking pretty well this week!
Glad you got some pi runs in! Running in shorts must have felt amazing. A 5 mile walk takes a long time! You and your friend must have a lot to talk about!

We did – we hadn’t seen each other in a while so there was no shortage of things to talk about 🙂
Hooray for walks with friends – marvellous!

Just the best 🙂
Lots of great stacks for you this week! And I love all the pi efforts! What a fun week!
It’s moving right into summer here. I’m excited that we don’t have any more frost on the horizon, but I am going to miss not melting every time I step foot outside.
Thanks Jenn!
Can’t believe it’s heating up so fast for you there already! Stay cool!
You had a nice week of workouts! Do you always do a cool down after a ride? I just started doing those too and am liking them. I have taken a few classes with Robin and also like her. She is not as energetic or funny as Cody, but still delivers a fun class.

I just started doing the cool-down rides a few weeks ago, and usually only with the 20 min rides. I do like them – I think they help my legs to not feel like jelly when I get off the bike.
Congrats on the PR!
Sunrise is ALWAYS worth it, and time with friends is so good for the soul.
I’ve enjoyed the strengthcapades with you!

Strengthcapades! I like that…it’s always fun to hear what you’re up to 🙂
I am looking forward to some better weather so I can walk more with my neighborhood friend. It’s such a great way to catch up!
It really is! I didn’t realize how much I was missing the connection walks can provide.
You had a great week and with lots of variety. How great that you were able to meet up with friends for a walk. I scheming to get some friends to join me for my upcoming 5K in mid-April!
