How is it already July?!?!
The breakneck pace of 2017 continues! It’s the first Saturday of the month, and that means it’s time for catching up over coffee! Thanks to Coco and Deborah for hosting the Ultimate Coffee Date link-up. Grab a mug (or an iced coffee) and join me!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that after a sea of end-of-year school events, elementary school graduation, a major event for work, and 3…yes 3 weekends of lacrosse tournaments, I am really looking forward to some lazy summer days this month!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that my newest snack addiction is the Health Warrior Pumpkin Seed Bars. I first got to try the Cinnamon Spice bar thanks to StrideBox and I was quickly on the hunt for more. Since then I’ve discovered the Honey Cracked Pepper with Turmeric and the Dark Chocolate. These bars are so good!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m looking forward to lounging on my deck and doing some summer reading…but I need some recommendations! It’s been a while since I’ve read a good novel and I miss reading.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that while this pup is wildly cute, he’s a stubborn handful! We start our first session with a trainer this morning and I cannot wait!
In fact, I better finish my coffee and get ready for the trainer.
What would you tell me over coffee? Any book suggestions?
Those lacrosse tournaments can be brutal glad to be off for the summer myself. I am reading “It’s always the husband” while sitting on the beach. Hope you get some down time thanks for joining for coffee

It’s a good thing I love lacrosse as much as I do, but I’m ready for a break 🙂
awwww…your little dog looks too cute to be trouble LOL I’m currently reading Kathrine Switzlers Marathon Woman book…it’s fascinating!
Oh Kim looks are deceiving! LOL! He’s a handful and a half!
I do miss lacrosse sometimes! Your pup is cute! Hope the trainer helps with the manners! 😉
The first sessions was definitely a rude awakening for the pup 🙂
Hah!
I don’t have any book recommendations but I do loving being out on my deck! This is such a busy time of year so its nice to slow down and enjoy the warm weather.
Lazing on my deck is one of my favorite ways to spend a day – don’t get to do it enough!
Look at that pup! Very handsome! I love summer lounging and summer reading too! It gets to hot to move very fast around here! I just finished the Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty- loved it! Cheers to summer!

I loved the Husband’s Secret too!
I feel like I”m on a treadmill this summer. I have so much to do and so little time! We don’t have lacrosse at our house, but we do have rugby. I scheduled college visits for later this month. Yikes!
Love rugby – played it in college 🙂 Good luck with your son’s college visits! Exciting!
Adorable dog!! I finished Underground Railroad a few weeks ago, it was good. I also liked My Not So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella – light, funny read.
Thanks Vicki I’ll check those out.
Hope you have lots of lazy summer days in July! I don’t have any reading recommendations, but one of the activities in my birthday challenge (starts 7/12) will be to read a book. I hope you join in the fun! 🙂

Oh I’ll have to check out your birthday challenge 🙂
I’m totally with you on the lazy summer days! I’m trying to get out & do a little bit of stuff before the dog days of summer truly arrive.
Training is so, so important. So I’m glad you’re doing it! Let Bandit be a cautionary tale! It’s a good thing they’re cute cause they can also be massively irritating at times.

Oh yes – training is a must! We trained our last Sheperd too.
I can’t believe that the year is half way over – holy moly!
That pup is super cute – it would be hard to get mad at that face, but I know that pups can be a handful, especially when it comes to training!

I tell him all the time that he’s lucky he’s so cute 😉
I totally hear you on lazy summer days! I don’t think I’ve had a good lazy summer day in YEARS! haha
Puppy training can be so stressful. Good luck with your trainer.
I know what you mean – sometimes the summer feels even busier than the school year!
I’m loving the Health Warrior Chia bars lately… but haven’t tried the pumpkin seed. Now I’ll have to hunt them down!
That pup is cute but they sure can turn a household upside down. Hope the training sessions go well and enjoy your summer Michelle!

I have found the pumpkin seed bars in Target so you might give that a try. They are yummy!
If we were having coffee I’d tell you I too am shocked at how fast this year is flying by. I’d tell you that I’m feeling burnt out and that I am currently searching for a holiday in the sun that won’t break the bank. I’d tell you I’ve no book recommendations as I’m super far behind on my reading list as it is. And I’d tell you that I’m looking forward to the next time we have a virtual coffee 🙂
I holiday in the sun sounds ideal – I hope you find one! We still don’t have a vacation planned for the end of the summer and I’m getting antsy!
