Happy Friday!!
The ladies of the DC Trifecta (that would be Courtney, Mar and Cynthia) are inviting everyone to share some “favorites” for this week’s #FridayFive link up. So it seems like the perfect time for another edition of Lovin’/Not Lovin’.
It's time for another edition of lovin/not lovin for this week's #FridayFive Share on XI’m lovin’ ….
SPIbelt Ambassador! — Talk about a product I truly love – my SPIbelt has been a permanent fixture in my running gear since I bought one at my first race expo back in 2010. I’m very excited to be working with them! Stay tuned for all the giveaway and discount goodness.
Aftershokz Headphones — I know I just mentioned these over coffee a couple of weeks ago, but they’re really worth mentioning again! Running with music is a must for me, and the fact that I can both clearly hear my surroundings and my tunes is a huge win!
Perfect Weather — Since June rolled in we have been enjoying a stretch of near perfect weather. The early mornings are in the low 50’s, ideal for running…then the days warm up to the low 80’s before cooling off again. And best of all…no humidity!
Zensah Well Rounded Shorts — (affiliate link alert!) A couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to win a pair of Zensah Well Rounded shorts during a #Bibchat. I love the wide waistband and that they stay in place, even during my recent track workout.
I’m so Not Lovin’
FitBit Down!
My FitBit band started to show a bubble or two over the past couple of weeks, despite never getting wet. And then, last weekend this happened! All of the glue seems to have given way at once. You can imagine how thrilled I was. Did I mention that the FitBit is only 10 months old. I have contacted FitBit Support – can’t wait to see what they have to say.
Have you discovered any new favorites? What are you lovin’, or not, right now?
Yikes on the FitBit! I just got the UP3 and while it has fewer features than my Garmin I am liking it. Our weather has been all over the place but this weekend should be great. I need to check out those shorts!

The shorts really are pretty awesome – and usually my thighs and workout shorts don’t get along 😉
Congrats on the Spi gig! I’ve seen lots of Fitbits falling apart. My old Fitbit One did as well. I understand they have excellent customer support though so I hope they can rectify your issue. We are 100 degrees one day then 60 the next. Still can’t complain though!

The Fitbits falling apart so quickly is just crazy! For $120+ I’d expect better!
oh man – sorry about the FitBit!! mine is still in good tact after 6 months of daily use but hopefully your issue will get rectified. Congrats on the SpiBelt gig! I love my Spibelt.

Thanks Mar!
I love running in the summer but I finally I had my most humid run the other day and it was a little much. Guess I need to get used to it. It is only going to get worse. Sorry to hear about your fit bit. Hopefully hey will help you out.

I know the humidity is coming this way…just hoping it holds off a little bit longer!
I love my AfterShokz headphones too. I love my music on a run, but would always have at least a little bit of feeling uneasy with it and my surroundings. These headphones are great for feeling safe and having the music. They’re also comfortable, so that always helps.
The fact that you really can hear your surroundings is the best – very comforting.
I love the wireless headphones! A must!
Absolutely!
We’ve had great weather this summer but it’s been mostly hot! It’s not bothering me much, since I’m not training for anything. Silver lining, right?

Silver lining for sure. I know the heat’s coming…bracing myself for it!
Awesome. I’m going to have to check out those headphones!
Definitely do!
Congrats on the Spi Belt Ambassadorship! Those are some great belts, and I know many who love them!
Thanks Susie 🙂
I keep seeing those headphones everywhere! I may get them for a gift for a friend. Have a great weekend!

Oh I think they’d make a great gift!
I will have to check out the SPI belts! The heat and humidity is so hard to run…I’d much rather run in the cold & snow!!

I’m with you on that Angela – I would much rather run layer up and run in the cold!
Congrats o the SpiBelt gig. I’m loving’ yoga and athlete chaturanga capris.
Thanks Jill!
I definitely want to give those headphones a try! They look so comfortable and actually appropriate for working out, unlike the ones I currently use LOL

The headphones are suprisingly comfortable – I was concerned they might squeeze, but they manage to stay in place without squeezing.
Glad you like the Well Rounded Shorts! I wore mine yesterday and I was a little nervous about chafing but they did well overall on my long run. And I’m loving the headphones too, they’re just what I’ve been waiting for! Oh and they should give you a new Fitbit no questions asked, the exact same thing happened to mine after only a few months!

I’m happy to say Fitbit is sending me a new one! I can’t beleive the same thing happened to yours.
Congrats on your spi belt ambassadorship! I have heard great things about those headphones. Sorry to hear about your fitbit. Hope they send you another to replace it.

Thanks Sharon – very excited about SPIbelt! And, I’m hapy to say that they’re sending me a new Fitbit 🙂
My FitBit just bit the dust and I had to get a new one too, bad month for FitBits.

It is crazy but I feel like I’ve heard about a lot of Fitbits going down lately – wonder what’s up with that?!?
