My running is still on hold….
I swear the minute you’re told you can’t run, the weather seems to be perfect and it feels like there are runners everywhere.
I’ve been trying to take advantage of my “free” time to get more yoga in – there’s no “yoga high,” but I’m sure my hamstrings will thank me.
I’m also refocusing my time on house projects and getting the paper creep under control. School has only been back in session a few weeks and I can no longer see my kitchen counter.
How do you keep yourself occupied when you can’t run?

Focus on what you CAN do Michelle! Obstacles that stop us from running suck but they make us stronger mentally and teach us to see silver linings, even when the clouds are grey. Hang in there, this too shall pass! Amen sister to tackling the paper creep!

You are so right Marcia – focusing on the silver linings wherever I can.
No not really a yoga high for me either but I did like to spin when I couldn’t run and hey it’s a great time to work on doing some upper body weights. Hope you are feeling better soon. Not running does suck!

Thanks – hopefully this won’t go on too much longer!
I really did have to fight back tears when i found out I had broken my foot on Memorial Day. Yoga is a great thing to focus on for these two weeks. I also focused on strength training.

Oh Coco I would have been on the edge of tears too! Strength training is definitely a good thing to focus on.
Uggh, so sorry. I know how that feels. I try to find something else to focus on. When I was injured a while back I took up spinning. It allowed me to keep up my cardio and keep my legs moving fast!!
