It’s the first of June…and a Monday…sounds like a perfect time for a refresh!
I confessed during my Runfessions that my eating has gotten a little off track. I hadn’t stepped on a scale but I could tell I’d added a few pounds. Well I got on the scale this weekend…um yeah, there are definitely some extra pounds that have shown up. Time for these uninvited guests to go!
So starting today I’m doing Beachbody’s 3-day Refresh. The program’s a combination of protein shakes, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, and healthy fats. The goal is to help re-set your eating habits and maybe drop a couple of pounds.
After reviewing the program, I liked that this doesn’t look a “starvation” plan, and that there’s lots of real food involved. I’ve even convinced my husband J to do the program with me! I’ll let you know how it goes…
What do you do when you find your eating gotten off track?
*I am in no way affiliated with Beachbody – I purchased the 3-day Refresh, and all opinions expressed here, as always are my own.
I know it can sound so trite 🙂 but it’s what I do here.
For me it really is reminding myself I’m never as far from my track 🙂 as my very next action or bite

Not trite at all Carla – each of those small choices you can make lead you back to path you want to be on. I’m just feeling the need for a big kick in the pants…we’ll see how this goes 😉
i’ve done juice cleanses before for similar reasons – to help myself get rid of crazy cravings. good luck – can’t wait to hear about it!

All the best with the Refresh! I find myself in a similar boat. Busy leads to lack of meal planning leads to mindless eating. I refresh by cutting way back on sugar and focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods.

Good luck with the reset. I’ve never tried one b/c I am scared I would die of hunger! Let us know how it goes.

Well the fact that by lunch time I was starving and a little cranky may not bode well for the next 3 days 🙂
I’m looking forward to reading all about your refresh review. Detox tea, along with consistent meal prep and planning it usually how I refresh after a few days of unhealthy eating.

Interested to see how that goes and what you actually eat. I don’t weigh myself anymore but I am feeling a little off

Yeah, I’m off track too. I try to cut out my late night snacking because that’s usually the culprit. I’m interested to hear how your refresh goes.

I’m probably due for a refresh myself! I see the dietitian tomorrow and I don’t think it’ll be good news…sounds like a balanced way to shed a couple of pounds!

I just try to get back to basics. More fruits and veggies. Less chips and cookies. It’s harder than it sounds!
