They look innocent enough don’t they…those pretty colorful leaves on the sidewalks and roads.
Well…consider this my public service announcement for the week…tread carefully across those leaves cause you never know what may be lurking beneath! I discovered this the hard way during Saturday’s run – stepped on a twig and awkwardly twisted my knee.
Still doesn’t feel so great today so I’ll be cross-training instead of running. Maybe I’ll exact some revenge with my leaf-blower in the backyard 😉
ahhh life.
I COULD SO SO DO THAT TOO.

Ugh! I hope it get’s better soon — like NOW! We have a joke in our family about my husband never parking over a pile of leaves in case the hot car makes them catch fire. Maybe that’s a real hazard too?

At my last race, the wet leaves on the downhills were the scariest part! Around here, there are so many acorns under the leaves that turning an ankle is almost guaranteed on each run.

Hope your knee is ok!! Totally agree, you have to be careful of leaves on the ground, even when hiking, wet leaves can be pretty slippery!

Oh that stinks! I hope you feel better soon. My friend fell the other day on our run, also due to those stupid leaves!
